The Event
It is a social touring event with no competition incorporating one lap of Australia.

Any rear wheel drive Peugeot

$110

Accommodation
Some caravan parks, some bush camps.

Trailers
Only those set up for 4X4 conditions.

Vehicle Preparation
Vehicles should be thoroughly serviced and inspected before the trip with an emphasis being put on cooling, ignition, fuel and suspension systems. Tyres should be in very good condition.

Communication
UHF CB recommended but not mandatory. Mobile phones will not have continual cover.

Itinerary
Many days have been designed so that the day’s destination can be reached by lunch time or early afternoon to allow time for sight seeing etc. Most days of long distance are in outback areas where these distances can be covered relatively quickly.
